Excelerate Performance, established in 2003, is a Connecticut based retailer and installer of aftermarket performance parts, wheel and tire packages, and accessories. We specialize in modifying and servicing European and Japanese vehicles and also some newer domestic vehicles.

Excelerate Performance is currently located at 12 Sycamore Way Unit 1 in Branford, CT. Our new 5,000 sq ft facility offers 5 lifts (2-Post 10,000 lb low profile lifts), and 2 knowledgeable and capable mechanics, as well as a highly experienced sales team. Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Quinnipiac University and he has a extensive experience with automotive performance. He has been modifying vehicles since he was a teenager and his lineup of vehicles has run the gamut: VW, Audi, Acura, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, etc. Excelerate Performance’s service team is led by Jamie Brecciaroli, formerly of Sleeper’s Performance, where he fabricated and installed custom turbo kits for many Audi/VW’s. Jamie is a Master Mechanic. His knowledge of vehicles ranges from Acuras to Audis and everything in between. Rest assured that with this combination of sales and service experience that your vehicle is in good hands. Assisting Jamie is Seamus Erskine, who has almost a decade of experience in fabricating and modifying imported vehicles. Assisting Joshua is Casey Tyler, who has over 4 years in automotive related parts sales.
In order to gain experience in the aftermarket field we purchase vehicles to show to our customers. We have two shop cars now: a 2012 Audi TT RS and a 09 GTI 2.0T. Our 2012 Audi TT RS 2.5L 5-cylinder features an APR Turbo Back Exhaust, APR Software, and a 034 Motorsport Rear Sway Bar. As soon as APR Stage 3 is released, we will be first in line to install it on our TT RS. Our consummate show car is a 2009 VW GTI 2.0T TSI. This vehicle boasts a built motor (Integrated Engineering Rods, ARP Head Studs, Calico coated rod bearings), APR Stage 3 big turbo kit with GT28RS, AEM Water Methanol system, APR 3″ turbo back exhaust, Carbonio intake, AWE turbo outlet pipe, BSH engine mounts and throttle body pipe, B&G RS2 coilover system, Ultra Racing chassis bars and 24mm rear sway bar, Stoptech 328X28MM 4-Piston big brake kit, Peloquin limited slip differential, Southbend Stage 5 clutch, , Forge short shifters, Rieger lip kit, OSIR carbon fiber grill, carbon fiber mirror covers, carbon fiber interior trim, and carbon fiber rear diffuser, Raderwerks MTEN-80S 18×8/18×9 with Yokohama S-Drives, and much much more.
Joshua’s personal garage also includes a couple more VW’s: a 03 GTi VR6 24V and a 02 GTi VR6 12V. The 03 GTi VR24V has a fully built motor (Bored to 2.9, Wossner Forged Pistons, Integrated Engineering Rods, ARP rod bolts) with a custom turbo kit. The turbo kit includes a Garrett T60-1 turbo, PAG turbo manifold, custom 3″ exhaust, custom 4″ MAF/inlet pipe, Tial 38mm wastegate, custom air to water intercooler, custom boost pipes, Sleeper’s short runner intake manifold. The transmission has a Peloquin LSD, Stage 4 clutch kit, lightweight flywheel. It was recently outfitted with a Airlift Air Suspension and a STOPTECH 328MM Big Brake Kit. And there is much more to this vehicle. The 02 GTi VR6 12V has a freshly built motor (built to stock spec) with a custom turbo kit. The turbo kit includes a Garett T67 turbo, custom 3inch exhaust with Borla muffler, custom air/water intercooler built into the intake manifold plenum, custom air/water coolant tank, stealth black powder coated engine components, VF-E engine mounts, KW V3 Coilovers, Neuspeed F&R sway bars, Porsche Stage 2 Front BBK and 20th Anniversary calipers with 2 piece rotors in the rear, RH Crossline 3-piece 19×8 front, 19×9 rear with Nitto NT555 225/35/19 front, 235/35/19 rear, custom stainless steel lips, color-matched centers, black barrels, 20th Anniversary interior, HKS EVC boost controller flush mounted in vent, 20th Anniversary front spoiler, Custom carbon fiber lip spoiler and roof, R32 Sideskirts, 20th Anniversary rear apron with custom cutout for dual exhaust tips, R32 Euro HID headlights, and so much more.

hello, im looking for an estimate for APR downpipe with high flow cat on a GTI 2009 tsi motor 6speed, and for a boost gauge install (the one with the angled pod) , on the boost gauge do you guys carry in stock? or do i buy one from somewheres and have you install? estimate for downpipe, boost gauge, and labor cost…. thank you
